Some Interesting Stuff

read something in sports section of today newspaper today (some awkward repetition of words)...the article was entitled "I wish, I wish" - 24 things we'd like to see in 2006". its on this weekly column named thursday with rohit brijnath (the writers name)...a certain portion of it caught my eye and it reads like this...

A helping hand: Something's wrong when the opening ceremonies of most Games cost more than the entire budget of most competing African nations. Richer nations need to help lesser ones, whether donating money for equipment or sending coaches to help train kids. Only then do we get a somewhat equal global competition.

Food for Thought

Hello! Here i am again, after (as usual) such a long hiatus...i sort of decided that if i dont blog more frequently during the holidays, wont i have even less time to do so when college reopens?

anyway, those who have read my blog before (not many though, haha) will know that i hate myself being unable to take the scoldings of others...its a trait of me that i dont like and which i am seeking to change...because it makes me such a petty and weak person

and i just realised thats actually not the case! its just that everytime anybody scold me, i can take it but i will just ask myself what was it that i have done wrong?...after which i will KEEP DWELLING ON THE ISSUE...well, this is really what i call thinking too much...thinking too much has landed me in tons of trouble before, and i have to stop doing that before i land myself in trouble again...that said, i have the utmost confidence in overcoming this so called problem :)
